After the “will we, won’t we be able to open non-essential businesses from Saturday” debate, which still seems to be very much up in the air, I can tell you that the following are facts and taken from the Junta de Andalucía website.
Today Almería has registered 195 more new cases (63 up on yesterday), 343 cured cases (74 down on yesterday) and 8 deaths (12 down on yesterday). The rate per 100.000 population has dropped to 544.1.
In the six towns that I report on there are a total of 22 new cases. Los Gallardos has 4, Turre 1, Vera 12 and Garrucha 5.
Cured cases total 108. Los Gallardos has 12, Turre 2, Mojácar 2, Vera 85 and Garrucha 7.
One death has been recorded in Vera.
Now, "the big one” the cases per 100.000 population. 4 towns have dropped being Turre, Mojácar, Vera and Garrucha. Only Vera now remains above the 1000 rate. Bédar does not change and Los Gallardos rises perilously close to the 1000 mark at 999.3.
Here are the latest figures with yesterday’s figures in (brackets).
Los Gallardos - Total number of cases 237 (233), cured cases 188 (176), active cases 45 (53), deaths 4 (4) and 999.3 per 100.000 (964.9).
Turre - Total number of cases 255 (254), cured cases 168 (166), active cases 84 (85), deaths 3 (3) and 846.3 per 100.000 (925.7).
Mojácar - Total number of cases 530 (530), cured cases 310 (308), active cases 206 (208), deaths 14 (14) and 693.4 per 100.000 (752.4).
Vera - Total number of cases 1375 (1363), cured cases 1048 (963), active cases 308 (382), deaths 19 (18) and 1165 per 100.000 (1212).
Garrucha - Total number of cases 580 (575), cured cases 391 (384), active cases 184 (186), deaths 5 (5) and 934.9 per 100.000 (1029.4).
Bédar - Total number of cases 28 (28), cured cases 19 (19), active cases 9 (9), deaths 0 (0) and 508.1 per 100.000 (508.1).
