"NOTICE CLEANING AND FACADE DEVELOPMENT. The provincial authorities responsible for the environment and fire prevention, warn us about the need to keep in a good state of cleanliness and conservation all those plots and lots that are covered with plants and dry brushwood that are easy to burn. The season ahead is especially prone to fires, and it is the responsibility of EVERYONE to adopt measures to prevent them and avoid their devastating effects. As in previous years I am addressing the population to invite them to take extreme care and cleanliness of the undeveloped lots, eliminating all those elements that may cause a fire. In another vein, and to avoid the visual impact and bad image of chips and poor state of preservation of some homes, I take the opportunity to invite neighbours to clean up the facades by painting or whitewashing. After a reasonable period of time, the City Council will issue the appropriate execution orders in accordance with the provisions of the Andalusian Urban Planning Law, for breach of the duty of conservation (Article 158 of Law 7/2002, on Urban Planning of Andalusia).

Los Gallardos Friday Figures

After last week’s “blip” where Los Gallardos saw 6 new cases and no cured cases, this week it has almost been the opposite with no new cases and 4 cured.

This brings the blue total cases and orange cured cases lines closer together but not quite as close as they were on 23rd April. As a result of this week’s numbers the green active case line has dropped again.

Hopefully the same trend will continue next week.

Take care of each other and stay safe.

INFORMATION:
New Measures announced by the Junta de Andalucía after the end of the State of Alarm next Sunday.
The president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, has reported that, with the tools available to his Government and following the advice of the experts, the autonomous community will begin on May 9 a process of transition to normality after the end of the state of alarm.
This de-escalation, linked to the level of vaccination in Andalusia, will be divided into three phases: stabilization, from May 9; of advance, as of June 1, and of normalization, on June 21. For this date, "if the forecasts in the shipment of vaccines are fulfilled", the Andalusian Government expects that 70% of the population will have at least one dose administered and around 40% will be fully immunized.
In each phase, the opening hours of shops and hotels will be gradually extended. Likewise, the capacity of shops, bars, restaurants, transport and public shows will depend on the alert level - from 1 to 4 - declared in each municipality. A decision that has been agreed at the meeting of the Advisory Council of High Impact Public Health Alerts (Committee of Experts) of Andalusia held today.
Thus, this Sunday, with the end of the state of alarm, both the curfew and the perimeter closure of the community disappear, and, in addition, the number of people who meet at homes can no longer be regulated, the phase stabilization, which includes the following measures:
1. The curfew disappears.
2. The community, which until now was closed perimeter, becomes open.
3. Opening of the hotel business until 00.00 hours.
4. Tables in restoration: maximum capacity of 8 people inside and 10 outside, depending on the alert level of each municipality.
5. Same celebrations, with a maximum capacity of 300 people inside and 500 outside.
6. Bars with music and discos may open until 2:00 am, with the same seating and table conditions as restaurants.
7. Dance floors will only be allowed in municipalities with alert level 1, always outside and the mask is mandatory.
8. In shows, cinemas, theatres, sporting events and bullrings, at alert levels 1 and 2, a free seat must be left between groups of spectators. In the rest of the levels it will be necessary to respect the meter and a half of separation.
9. In beaches and swimming pools there is no time limit. Yes, a specific protection plan against Covid-19 will be necessary, as in 2020, and the maintenance of a distance of one and a half meters between groups.
10. Regarding mobility, only those municipalities with more than 5,000 inhabitants with a cumulative incidence in 14 days of more than 1,000 infections per 100,000 inhabitants will remain closed. In them, only essential commercial activity will be allowed. In those with less than 5,000 inhabitants, a specific risk assessment will be carried out.
Thus, on June 1, if the conditions of the pandemic allow it, the "advance phase" will be activated, with fewer restrictions on schedules and capacity.
