COVID update Friday 30th July 2021

Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours Turre, Mojácar and Bédar have not recorded any new cases. Los Gallardos has recorded 1, Vera 9 and Garrucha 2. The figures for Los Gallardos are: Total number of cases 276, cured cases 268, cases recorded in the last 14 days 4, cases recorded in the last 7 days 2, active cases 4, deaths 4 and 137.8 per 100.000 in the last 14 days. 383 new cases have been recorded in the Almería province in the last 24 hours compared to 362 yesterday and 274 last Friday. This week Los Gallardos has recorded 2 new cases, the same as last week, Turre 7 compared to 16, Mojácar 19 compared to 14, Vera 44 compared to 55, Garrucha 17 compared to 33 and Bédar 1, the same as last week. COVID update 29th July 2021

Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours only Los Gallardos has not recorded any new cases. Turre has recorded 1, Mojácar 4, Vera 5, Garrucha 3 and Bédar 1. The figures for Los Gallardos are: Total number of cases 275, cured cases 268, cases recorded in the last 14 days 3, cases recorded in the last 7 days 1, active cases 3, deaths 4 and 103.4 per 100.000 in the last 14 days. 362 new cases have been recorded in the Almería province in the last 24 hours compared to 299 yesterday and 274 last Thursday. Please be aware that we have moved to Alert Level 2. You will find details of the changes in one of my earlier posts. Stay safe everybody.

Last week the Almería Sanitary District entered and from Thursday 29th the Poniente District and the Levante-Alto Almanzora also do so.

In development of the modification of the Order of the Ministry of Health of May 7, 2021, the territorial committees of High Impact Public Health of the eight Andalusian provinces have met today by telematic means, chaired by the respective territorial delegates of Health and Families, to analyze epidemiological data in their respective fields of action.

The Territorial Committee of the province of Almería has decided to raise the Poniente Health District and the Levante-Alto Almanzora Health District to Alert Level 2 due to the increase in cases. And as the Almería Health District was already in it since the week, the entire province of Almería is at the same level.

Therefore, all the municipalities in these districts will have to comply with new measures:

The capacity in hotels and restaurants is limited to 75% indoors, while 100% is allowed on terraces and bar service and consumption is allowed. The tables will have a limit of 6 people indoors and 8 people outdoors.

It is an early update on the Junta de Andalucía website today and it reports that in the last 72 hours only Los Gallardos and Bédar have not recorded any new cases. Turre has recorded 4, Mojácar 8, Vera 14 and Garrucha 8. Los Gallardos has recorded 1 cured case since Friday so the figures for Los Gallardos are now: Total number of cases 274, cured cases 268, cases recorded in the last 14 days 2, cases recorded in the last 7 days 0, active cases 2, deaths 4 and 68.9 per 100.000 in the last 14 days. 647 new cases have been recorded in the Almería province since Friday compared to 546 last Monday and 264 on Monday 12th July. The total number of cases recorded in the province is now 60,075 with 55,463 cured, 843 lives lost and 3,759 active cases. Stay safe everybody.
