Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 96 hours, all the towns that I report on have recorded new cases.

Los Gallardos has 8, Turre 3, Mojácar 19, Vera 74, Garrucha 26 and Bédar 1. 3 cured cases have been recorded with 1 in Turre and 2 in Vera.

Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 19, Turre 9, Mojácar 55, Vera 157, Garrucha 56 and Bédar 1.

In the province of Almería in the last 96 hours 1,564 new cases have been recorded and 234 cured cases. No more lives have been lost.

The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has again increased, from 433.4 on Thursday to 629.6 today and the 7 day rate has also increased from 285.2 on Thursday to 374.3 today.

Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are 22 new cases with 2 each in Mojácar and Garrucha and 18 in Vera.

Los Gallardos has reported 1 cured case and sadly 2 more lives have been lost with 1 each in Los Gallardos and Vera.

Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 8, Turre 5, Mojácar 26, Vera 59, Garrucha 18 and Bédar 0.

In the province of Almería in the last 24 hours 494 new cases have been recorded (compared to 153 this time last week) with 143 cured cases (compared to 137 last week). As already mentioned, 2 lives have been lost.

The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has again increased, from 275.3 yesterday to 336.6 today and the 7 day rate has also increased again, from 190.1 yesterday to 238.2 today.

Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 10, Turre 5, Mojácar 24, Vera 42, Garrucha 16 and Bédar 0.

In the province of Almería in the last 72 hours 722 new cases have been recorded (compared to 283 this time last week) with 76 cured cases (compared to 12 last week). No more lives have been lost.

JUNTA DE ANDALUCÍA - BOJA EXTRAORDINARIO NUMBER 93 OF 19/12/2021

Preventive public health measures, relating to the COVID-19 Certificate or diagnostic test for access to the interior of catering, leisure and recreation establishments.

1. Adults over 12 years old may access the interior of catering and leisure establishments provided that they have a certificate issued by the public health service which proves that they have received the complete programme of a COVID-19 vaccine.

OR

by an approved laboratory that accredits that they have a negative diagnostic test carried out in the last 72 hours, in the case of PCR and 48 hours, in the case of antigen tests. In the case of rapid antigen tests, they must be listed in the common list and updated RAPID COVID-19 antigen tests as established on the basis of the Council of Europe Recommendation 2021/C 24/01.

OR

that they have recovered from a SARS-CoV-2 infection in the last 6 months provided that the person was diagnosed as a confirmed case of COVID-19 11 days or more ago, by means of a PCR test, no other tests being valid.

2. To access the aforementioned establishments those entering must provide an ID document together with one of the documents accredited above in the 3 scenarios.

3. The requirement in point 1 above shall not apply to access of children under 12 years of age to those establishments nor will it apply to those over 12 years of age who already have limited access in accordance with the current regulations.

4. In order to ensure the maximum guarantee of privacy, the information referred to in point 1 together with the document accrediting identity may only be requested for the purposes of mere verification. In no case will data of a personal health nature be kept nor will files be created with them. In all cases, the personnel who may have access or knowledge of information is obliged to maintain secrecy and confidentiality of the personal data, in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

5. In these establishments, an informative poster shall be displayed to the public of the need for this documentation as well as the obligation of not storing the personal health data.

6. The implementation of the measures and its control shall, in any event, respect the dignity of the person.

This will remain in force from midnight Sunday 19 December until midnight on 15 January 2022.

Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are 5 new cases with 2 each in Turre and Vera and 1 in Mojácar. There are 0 cured cases reported. Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 1, Turre 6, Mojácar 6, Vera 6, Garrucha 9 and Bédar 3. The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has decreased from 119 yesterday to 115.5 today and the 7 day rate has also decreased from 59.6 yesterday to 58.4 today. Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are no new cases and 3 cured cases with 1 in Mojácar and 2 in Vera. The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has increased again from 112.9 yesterday to 119 today and the 7 day rate has also increased from 56.5 yesterday to 59.6 today. For your information, on 2nd November 2021 the incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days was 53.9 and therefore we see an increase of 121% this month and the 7 day rate was 21.2 which has seen an increase of 181% to today’s figure.
