COVID update Wednesday 22nd December 2021

Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are 25 new cases with 2 in Los Gallardos, 1 in Turre, 5 in Mojácar, 13 in Vera and 4 in Garrucha. Only 1 cured case has been reported in Vera. Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 10, Turre 6, Mojácar 31, Vera 71, Garrucha 22 and Bédar 0. In the province of Almería in the last 24 hours 224 new cases have been recorded (compared to 178 this time last week) with 122 cured cases (compared to 100 last week). 1 more life has been lost in the last 24 hours. The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has again increased, from 336.6 yesterday to 356.9 today but the 7 day rate has decreased from 238.2 yesterday to 235.7 today.
