COVID update Thursday 9th December
Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 48 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are 7 new cases with 1 each in Mojácar and Garrucha and 5 in Vera. No cured cases have been reported.
Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 2, Turre 5, Mojácar 6, Vera 13, Garrucha 7 and Bédar 0.
In the province of Almería in the last 48 hours 116 new cases have been recorded with 63 cured cases and 1 life lost.
The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has decreased from 119.2 on Tuesday to 110.6 today and the 7 day rate has also decreased from 53.6 on Tuesday to 47.7 today.
