COVID update Friday 16th July 2021
Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that again, in the last 24 hours only Los Gallardos and Bédar have not recorded any new cases (in the towns I report on). Turre has registered 1 new case, Mojácar has 3, Vera has 6 and Garrucha has 6.
The figures for Los Gallardos are: Total number of cases 272, cured cases 267, cases recorded in the last 14 days 0, cases recorded in the last 7 days 0, active cases 1, deaths 4 and 0 per 100.000.
223 new cases have been recorded in the Almería province in the last 24 hours compared to 176 yesterday and 141 last Friday.
This week Turre has recorded 3 new cases, Mojácar 19, Vera 36 and Garrucha 22.

If you are going to the fiesta please note that the Town Hall have said although masks are not mandatory they are requesting people to wear them.
