COVID update Friday 7th May 2021

According to the Junta de Andalucía website Los Gallardos ends the week on a high note as we have not recorded any new cases in the last week and we have had 4 cured cases. There is also good news for Turre, Mojácar, Garrucha and Bédar as they also have not recorded any new cases in the last 24 hours however Vera has recorded 2. The figure per 100.000 population in the last fourteen days remains at 206.8 as we still have 6 cases registered in the last 14 days and we have a zero rate for the last 7 days. Here are the latest figures for Los Gallardos with yesterday’s figures in (brackets). Total number of cases 271 (271), cured cases 262 (262), active cases 5 (5), deaths 4 (4) and 206.8 per 100.000 (207). Even though the State of Alarm ends on Sunday with many changes, the use of masks and 1.5m distancing will still apply.
