COVID update 11-02-2021

The Junta de Andalucía seem to be back on track time wise today in updating their website which sees some of the six towns that I report on doing better than others. Overall in Almería, the news is not as positive as it has been as there are 379 new cases reported (137 more than yesterday), 642 cured cases (83 less than yesterday) and 5 more lives lost (4 less than yesterday). However, the rate per 100.000 population has dropped from 886.3 to 837.7. There are new cases in all of the six towns totalling 34 (42% up on yesterday); Los Gallardos 1, Turre 3, Mojácar 6, Vera 14, Garrucha 8 and Bédar 2. Five of the towns report cured cases totalling 46 (down 34% on yesterday); Los Gallardos 6, Mojácar 5, Vera 28, Garrucha 5 and Bédar 2. Here are the latest figures with yesterday’s figures in (brackets). Los Gallardos - Total number of cases 222 (221), cured cases 165 (159), active cases 53 (58), and 1447.3 per 100.000 (1550.7). Turre - Total number of cases 252 (249), cured cases 147 (147), active cases 102 (99) and 1401.7 per 100.000 (1375.3). Mojácar - Total number of cases 527 (521), cured cases 292 (287), active cases 223 (222) and 1268.8 per 100.000 (1342.6). Vera - Total number of cases 1298 (1284), cured cases 936 (908), active cases 346 (360) and 1535.7 per 100.000 (1600.4). Garrucha - Total number of cases 561 (553), cured cases 352 (347), active cases 205 (202) and 1544.1 per 100.000 (1617.6). Bédar - Total number of cases 26 (24), cured cases 16 (14), active cases 10 (10) and 914.6 per 100.000 (914.6). Don't drop your guard and stay safe everybody.
