COVID update 10-02-2021

It has been another late update of the figures on the Junta de Andalucía website today which reports, in the whole of Almería, 242 new cases, 725 cured cases and 9 lives lost in the last 24 hours. Closer to home, in the six towns I report on, all active case numbers have dropped and so have the cases per 100.000 population in the last 14 days (with the exception of Bédar which sees no changes since yesterday). The cases per 100.000 population in the last 14 days for Almería has also dropped to 886.3 which is 24% down on last Wednesday. Locally there are 21 new cases; Los Gallardos has 2, Turre 2, Mojácar 2, Vera 9 and Garrucha 6. Cured cases total 70; Los Gallardos has 9, Turre 6, Mojácar 3, Vera 28 and Garrucha 24. Sadly 2 more lives have been lost, one each in Vera and Garrucha. Here are the latest figures with yesterday’s figures in (brackets). Los Gallardos - Total number of cases 221 (219), cured cases 159 (150), active cases 58 (65), and 1550.7 per 100.000 (1654). Turre - Total number of cases 249 (247), cured cases 147 (141), active cases 99 (103) and 1375.3 per 100.000 (1666.2). Mojácar - Total number of cases 521 (519), cured cases 287 (284), active cases 222 (223) and 1342.6 per 100.000 (1519.6). Vera - Total number of cases 1284 (1275), cured cases 908 (880), active cases 360 (380) and 1600.4 per 100.000 (1688.6). Garrucha - Total number of cases 553 (547), cured cases 347 (323), active cases 202 (221) and 1617.6 per 100.000 (1701.7). Bédar - Total number of cases 24 (24), cured cases 14 (14), active cases 10 (10) and 914.6 per 100.000 (914.6).
