COVID update 09-02-2021.

The positive news today from Junta de Andalucía website is that there are some big changes in cured cases.

Across the six towns that I report on there are a total of 119 cured cases with 18 in Los Gallardos, 14 in Mojácar, 76 in Vera, 9 in Garrucha and 2 in Bédar.

The number of new cases is across the six towns totals 37 with 1 in Los Gallardos, 1 in Turre, 1 in Mojácar, 21 in Vera, 11 in Garrucha and 2 in Bédar.

Sadly there have been 3 more lives lost with 1 each in Los Gallardos, Turre and Vera.

Here are the latest figures with yesterday’s figures in (brackets).

Los Gallardos - Total number of cases 219 (218), cured cases 150 (132), active cases 65 (83), and 1654 per 100.000 (1722.9).

Turre - Total number of cases 247 (246), cured cases 141 (141), active cases 103 (103) and 1666.2 per 100.000 (1692.7).

Mojácar - Total number of cases 519 (518), cured cases 284 (270), active cases 223 (236) and 1519.6 per 100.000 (1622.9).

Vera - Total number of cases 1275 (1254), cured cases 880 (804), active cases 380 (436) and 1688.6 per 100.000 (1694.5).

Garrucha - Total number of cases 547 (536), cured cases 323 (314), active cases 221 (219) and 1701.7 per 100.000 (1649.2).

Bédar - Total number of cases 24 (22), cured cases 14 (12), active cases 10 (10) and 914.6 per 100.000 (711.4).
