The rate per 100.000 population in the last 14 days for Almería has dropped again, as it has done every day this week, and local towns have a mixture of increased and decreased figures.
The total number of new cases in the towns that I report on is 22 (35% down on yesterday) with Los Gallardos having 4, Turre 1. Mojácar 1 and Vera 16.
The total number of cured cases in the town I report on is 13 (71% down on yesterday) with Los Gallardos having 3, Turre 2, Mojácar 4, Vera 3, and Garrucha 1.
One of Almería’s 8 recorded deaths was in Vera.
Here are the latest figures with yesterday’s figures in (brackets).
Los Gallardos - Total number of cases 226 (222), cured cases 168 (165), active cases 54 (53), and 1378.4 per 100.000 (1447.3).
Turre - Total number of cases 253 (252), cured cases 149 (147), active cases 101 (102) and 1163.7 per 100.000 (1401.7).
Mojácar - Total number of cases 528 (527), cured cases 296 (292), active cases 220 (223) and 1106.5 per 100.000 (1268.8).
Vera - Total number of cases 1314 (1298), cured cases 939 (936), active cases 358 (346) and 1541.5 per 100.000 (1535.7).
Garrucha - Total number of cases 561 (561), cured cases 353 (352), active cases 206 (205) and 1407.6 per 100.000 (1544.1).
Bédar - Total number of cases 26 (26), cured cases 16 (16), active cases 10 (10) and 609.8 per 100.000 (914.6).
The total number of deaths is now Los Gallardos 4, Turre 3, Mojácar 12, Vera 17, Garrucha 4 and Bédar 0.
It is not for me or anyone on this forum to be telling others what they should and should not be doing. The rules set by the government are very clear and if you chose to not obey them then you only have your own conscience to deal with.
