COVID update Wednesday 9th March 2022

Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are 12 new cases with 2 in Mojácar, 3 in Vera and 7 in Garrucha. There are cured cases in 5 towns with 2 in Los Gallardos, 3 in Turre, 1 in Mojácar, 7 in Vera and 12 in Garrucha. Los Gallardos (Yesterday’s figures in brackets) - Total number of cases 430 (430), cured cases 423 (421), deaths 6 (6), active cases 1 (3), 0 (0) per 100.000 in the last 14 days and 0 (0) in the last 7 days. Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 1 (3), Turre 10 (13), Mojácar 19 (18), Vera 46 (50), Garrucha 49 (54) and Bédar 1 (1). In the province of Almería in the last 24 hours 226 (203) new cases have been recorded and 487 (828) cured cases. 2 (2) more lives have been lost. The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has increased from 286.6 yesterday to 290.7 today and the 7 day rate has also increased, from 150.5 yesterday to 159.6 today.
