COVID update Tuesday 22nd March 2022

Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are 5 new cases with 1 each in Mojácar and Vera, and 3 in Garrucha. There are 21 cured cases with 1 each in Turre and Garrucha, 8 in Mojácar and 11 in Vera. Los Gallardos (Yesterday’s figures in brackets) - Total number of cases 434 (434), cured cases 425 (425), deaths 6 (6), active cases 3 (3), 99.9 (99.9) per 100.000 in the last 14 days and 66.6 (66.6) in the last 7 days. Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 3 (3), Turre 3 (4), Mojácar 25 (33), Vera 43 (53), Garrucha 16 (14) and Bédar 1 (1). In the province of Almería in the last 24 hours 112 (316) new cases have been recorded and 427 (228) cured cases. 2 (1) more lives have been lost with one of them being in Mojácar. The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has decreased from 294.8 yesterday to 281.1 today and the 7 day rate has also decreased, from 131.9 yesterday to 120.7 today.
