COVID update Monday 7th March 2022

Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 72 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are 37 new cases with 1 in Turre, 3 in Mojácar, 5 in Vera and 28 in Garrucha. There are cured cases in all 6 towns with 1 in Los Gallardos, 4 in Turre, 4 in Mojácar, 17 in Vera, 10 in Garrucha and 1 in Bédar. Los Gallardos (Friday’s figures in brackets) - Total number of cases 430 (430), cured cases 420 (419), deaths 6 (6), active cases 4 (5), 0 (99.9) per 100.000 in the last 14 days and 0 (0) in the last 7 days. Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 4 (5), Turre 15 (18), Mojácar 16 (17), Vera 57 (69), Garrucha 61 (43) and Bédar 1 (2). In the province of Almería in the last 72 hours 762 (267) new cases have been recorded and 1,152 (1,920) cured cases. 3 (1) more lives have been lost. The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has decreased from 301.3 on Friday to 294.6 today but the 7 day rate has increased from 118.1 on Friday to 130.6 today.
