COVID update Thursday 10th March 2022

Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are 10 new cases with 6 in Mojácar and 4 in Vera. There are 7 cured cases with 1 in Turre, 4 in Vera and 2 in Garrucha. Los Gallardos (Yesterday’s figures in brackets) - Total number of cases 430 (430), cured cases 423 (423), deaths 6 (6), active cases 1 (1), 0 (0) per 100.000 in the last 14 days and 0 (0) in the last 7 days. Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 1 (1), Turre 9 (10), Mojácar 25 (19), Vera 46 (46), Garrucha 47 (49) and Bédar 1 (1). In the province of Almería in the last 24 hours 275 (226) new cases have been recorded and 433 (487) cured cases. 4 (2) more lives have been lost. The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has increased from 290.7 yesterday to 300.8 today and the 7 day rate has also increased, from 159.6 yesterday to 162.1 today.
