COVID update Friday 18th March 2022

Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are 9 new cases with 1 each in Los Gallardos and Garrucha, 4 in Mojácar and 3 in Vera. There are 5 cured cases with 1 each in Turre, Vera and Bédar and 2 in Garrucha. Los Gallardos (Yesterday’s figures in brackets) - Total number of cases 433 (432), cured cases 425 (425), deaths 6 (6), active cases 2 (1), 66.6 (33.3) per 100.000 in the last 14 days and 66.6 (33.3) in the last 7 days. Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 2 (1), Turre 4 (5), Mojácar 29 (25), Vera 48 (46), Garrucha 30 (31) and Bédar 1 (2). In the province of Almería in the last 24 hours 222 (249) new cases have been recorded and 217 (269) cured cases. 1 (1) more life has been lost. The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has decreased from 314.2 yesterday to 309.2 today and the 7 day rate has also decreased, from 130 yesterday to 127.9 today.
