COVID update Thursday 24th March 2022

Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are 10 new cases with 3 in Los Gallardos, 4 in Vera, 2 in Garrucha and 1 in Bédar. There are 26 cured cases with 1 in Turre, 11 in Mojácar, 12 in Vera and 2 in Garrucha. Los Gallardos (Yesterday’s figures in brackets) - Total number of cases 437 (434), cured cases 425 (425), deaths 6 (6), active cases 6 (3), 199.8 (99.9) per 100.000 in the last 14 days and 166.5 (66.6) in the last 7 days. Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 6 (3), Turre 2 (3), Mojácar 13 (24), Vera 40 (48), Garrucha 15 (15) and Bédar 2 (1). In the province of Almería in the last 24 hours 511 (147) new cases have been recorded and 335 (197) cured cases. Zero (1) lives have been lost. The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has increased from 261 yesterday to 308.1 today and the 7 day rate has also increased, from 110.4 yesterday to 149.8 today.
