COVID update Thursday 17th March 2022

Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are 13 new cases with 1 each in Los Gallardos, Turre, Mojácar and Garrucha and 9 in Vera. There are 27 cured cases with 2 in Turre, 8 in Mojácar, 11 in Vera and 6 in Garrucha. Los Gallardos (Yesterday’s figures in brackets) - Total number of cases 432 (431), cured cases 425 (425), deaths 6 (6), active cases 1 (0), 33.3 (0) per 100.000 in the last 14 days and 33.3 (0) in the last 7 days. Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 1 (0), Turre 5 (6), Mojácar 25 (32), Vera 46 (48), Garrucha 31 (36) and Bédar 2 (2). In the province of Almería in the last 24 hours 249 (198) new cases have been recorded and 269 (125) cured cases. 1 (1) more life has been lost. The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has decreased from 316.3 yesterday to 314.2 today but the 7 day rate has increased from 120.3 yesterday to 130 today.
