COVID update Wednesday 18th August 2021

Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours (in the towns that I report on) only Garruca and Bédar have not recorded any new cases.

Los Gallardos has recorded 2, Turre and Mojácar have recorded 1 each and Vera has 2.

The figures for Los Gallardos are:

Cured cases 270
Cases recorded in the last 14 days 17
Cases recorded in the last 7 days 5
Active cases 19
Lives lost 4
585.8 per 100.000 in the last 14 days
172.3 per 100.000 in the last 7 days

112 new cases have been recorded in the Almería province in the last 24 hours compared to 643 yesterday (which was a 4 day update) and 229 last Wednesday.
