COVID update Monday 30th August 2021

Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 72 hours Los Gallardos, Mojácar and Bédar have not reported any new cases. However, Turre have recorded 2, Vera 8 and Garrucha 4. In the towns I report on, five have more cured cases; Los Gallardos has 1, Turre 1, Mojácar 6, Vera 22 and Garrucha 6. Sadly, Mojácar reports another life lost. The figures for Los Gallardos are: Total number of cases 294 Cured cases 278 Cases recorded in the last 14 days 3 Cases recorded in the last 7 days 0 Active cases 12 Lives lost 4 103.4 per 100.000 in the last 14 days 0 per 100.000 in the last 7 days 223 new cases have been recorded in the Almería province in the last 72 hours compared to 344 last Monday and 643 on Tuesday 17th which was a 4 day update due to the Bank Holiday.
