COVID update Friday 13th August 2021
Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours Los Gallardos, Garrucha and Bédar have not reported any new cases. However, Turre has reported 2, Mojácar 4 and Vera 5.
The figures for Los Gallardos are:
Total number of cases 289
Cured cases 270
Cases recorded in the last 14 days 13
Cases recorded in the last 7 days 8
Active cases 15
Lives lost 4
448 per 100.000 in the last 14 days
275.7 per 100.000 in the last 7 days
The "ups and downs" of this week are that Los Gallardos has recorded 8 new cases compared to 5 last week, Turre 7 compared to 11, Mojácar 19 compared to 18, Vera 38 compared to 44, Garrucha 6 compared to 15 and Bédar 0 for a second week.
Finally, on a positive note, 256 new cases have been recorded in the Almería province in the last 24 hours compared to 320 yesterday and 325 last Friday.
