COVID update 08-03-2021

Good evening everybody. I want to say “Thank You” so much for all of the lovely messages I have received (on Facebook) since Friday lunchtime. As a result of these and also the private messages I have received I almost feel guilty in stopping my updates. Therefore I will update, at some point during each weekday, the Los Gallardos figures and any changes on perimeter closures and other important information. So, without further ado, I can tell you that today, according to the Junta de Andalucía website, Los Gallardos has seen 1 new case registered since Friday and 2 more cured cases. The figure per 100.000 population in the last 14 days has dropped to 137.8, which is where it was last Thursday, and we currently have 4 cases registered in the last 14 days and 2 in the last 7. Here are the latest figures for Los Gallardos with Friday’s figures in (brackets):- Total number of cases 245 (244), cured cases 222 (220), active cases 19 (20), deaths 4 (4) and 137.8 per 100.000 (172.3).
