COVID update Friday 11th June 2021

The Junta de Andalucía website ends the week reporting that there have been no new cases recorded in the last 24 hours in Los Gallardos, Turre, Mojácar, Vera or Bédar. However, 3 have been recorded in Garrucha. The figures for Los Gallardos are: Total number of cases 271, cured cases 267, cases recorded in the last 14 days 0, cases recorded in the last 7 days 0, active cases 0, deaths 4 and 0 per 100.000. The last new case recorded in Los Gallardos was on Friday 30th April and we have had zero active cases since Tuesday 18th May. 49 new cases have been recorded in the Almería province in the last 24 hours compared to 43 yesterday and in the last 7 days 254 new cases have been recorded in our province. It is important to remember that the use of masks and 1.5m social distancing still apply. Have a great weekend everybody and stay safe.
