COVID update Tuesday 5th April 2022

With no update on the Junta de Andalucía website since Friday 1st April, today it reports that in the last 96 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are 6 new cases with 4 in Vera and 2 in Garrucha. There are 16 cured cases with 1 in Los Gallardos, 5 in Mojácar, 7 in Vera, 2 in Garrucha and 1 in Bédar. Los Gallardos (Friday’s figures in brackets) - Total number of cases 437 (437), cured cases 428 (427), deaths 6 (6), active cases 3 (4), 66.6 (99.9) per 100.000 in the last 14 days and 0 (0) in the last 7 days. Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 3 (4), Turre 2 (2), Mojácar 4 (9), Vera 37 (40), Garrucha 22 (22) and Bédar 0 (1). In the province of Almería in the last 96 hours 375 (433) new cases have been recorded and 646 (844) cured cases. 3 (1) more lives have been lost. The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has decreased from 321.8 on Friday to 270.4 today and the 7 day rate has also decreased, from 101.5 on Friday to 80.8 today.
