COVID update Friday 8th April 2022

With no update on the Junta de Andalucía website since Tuesday, today it reports that in the last 72 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are 7 new cases with 1 each in Los Gallardos and Bédar and 5 in Vera. There are 22 cured cases with 2 each in Los Gallardos and Mojácar, 8 in Vera and 10 in Garrucha. Los Gallardos (Tuesday’s figures in brackets) - Total number of cases 438 (437), cured cases 430 (428), deaths 6 (6), active cases 2 (3), 33.3 (66.6) per 100.000 in the last 14 days and 33.3 (0) in the last 7 days. Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 2 (4), Turre 2 (2), Mojácar 2 (4), Vera 34 (37), Garrucha 12 (22) and Bédar 1 (0). In the province of Almería in the last 72 hours 424 (375) new cases have been recorded and 633 (646) cured cases. 3 (3) more lives have been lost. The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has decreased from 270.4 on Tuesday to 210.7 today but the 7 day rate has increased, from 80.8 on Tuesday to 84.7 today.
