COVID update Wednesday 1st September

Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours, in the towns that I report on, only Vera has recorded 1 new case. Four towns have recorded more cured cases; Turre, Mojácar and Garrucha have 1 each and Vera has 2. The figures for Los Gallardos are: Total number of cases 294 Cured cases 280 Cases recorded in the last 14 days 1 Cases recorded in the last 7 days 0 Active cases 10 Lives lost 4 34.5 per 100.000 in the last 14 days 0 per 100.000 in the last 7 days 65 new cases have been recorded in the Almería province in the last 24 hours compared to 96 yesterday and 132 last Wednesday. For you number crunchers . . . . In the Almería province in the month of June 1,205 new cases were recorded, 1,313 were reported cured and 2 lives were lost. In the month of July the figures increased to 6,434 new cases, 1,720 cured and 12 lives lost. The month of August reports 5,799 new cases, 6,326 cured and 54 lives lost. Stay safe everybody.
