COVID update Tuesday 30th November 2021
Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are no new cases and 3 cured cases with 1 in Mojácar and 2 in Vera.
Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 1, Turre 4, Mojácar 5, Vera 4, Garrucha 9 and Bédar 3.
The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has increased again from 112.9 yesterday to 119 today and the 7 day rate has also increased from 56.5 yesterday to 59.6 today.
For your information, on 2nd November 2021 the incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days was 53.9 and therefore we see an increase of 121% this month and the 7 day rate was 21.2 which has seen an increase of 181% to today’s figure.

Again, for your information, on 1st November 2021 the number of hospitalizations was 152 and of those 42 were in ICU, therefore we see increases of 84% and 36% respectively.

Los Gallardos Christmas Schedule 2021 / 2022
From the Los Gallardos town hall we have made, with all the illusion that our neighbours deserve, a Christmas program for children and adults.
We hope that the circumstances arising from the pandemic allow us to carry them out normally, since all activities are subject to change or cancellation depending on health regulations.

Desde el ayuntamiento de Los Gallardos hemos hecho con toda la ilusión que merecen nuestros vecinos y vecinas, una programación de Navidad para niños y mayores.
Esperamos que las circunstancias derivadas de la pandemia, nos permitan realizarlas con normalidad, ya que todas las actividades están sujetas a cambios o cancelación en función de las normas sanitarias.

COVID update Monday 29th November 2021
Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 72 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are 2 new cases and 2 cured cases. Vera and Garrucha have 1 new case each and Turre has the 2 cured cases.
Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 1, Turre 4, Mojácar 6, Vera 6, Garrucha 9 and Bédar 3.
The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has increased again from 99.6 on Friday to 112.9 today and the 7 day rate has also increased from 52.8 on Friday to 56.5 today.
With no graphic been produced today I can tell you that here are 174 new cases in the province of Almería since Friday and 68 cured cases.

Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours, in the towns that I report on, there 2 new cases with 1 each in Mojácar and Garrucha. There are 0 cured cases.
Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 1, Turre 6, Mojácar 6, Vera 5, Garrucha 8 and Bédar 3.
The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has increased again (for the 12th day) from 92.7 yesterday to 99.6 today and the 7 day rate has also increased from 48.9 yesterday to 52.8 today.
This week the new cases and cured cases numbers are: Los Gallardos 1 & 0, Turre 0 & 3, Mojácar 3 & 0, Vera 0 & 4, Garrucha 4 & 0 and Bédar 0 & 0.

Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are 6 new cases with 1 in Los Gallardos, 2 in Mojácar and 3 in Garrucha. There are 3 cured cases with 2 in Turre and 1 in Vera.
Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 1, Turre 6, Mojácar 5, Vera 5, Garrucha 7 and Bédar 3.
The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has increased again from 87.2 yesterday to 92.7 today and the 7 day rate has also increased from 46.6 yesterday to 48.9 today.
There are 72 new cases in the province of Almería since yesterday and 39 cured.

Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are no new cases. There are 4 reported cured cases with 1 in Turre and 3 in Vera.
Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 0, Turre 8, Mojácar 3, Vera 6, Garrucha 4 and Bédar 3.
The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has increased again, albeit marginally from 82.4 yesterday to 83 today and the 7 day rate has also increased again marginally from 50.3 yesterday to 51 today.
There are 48 new cases in the province of Almería since yesterday, 35 cured cases and 1 more life lost.
