COVID update Friday 30th April 2021

As we arrive at the last day of April, the news from the Junta de Andalucía website today is that Los Gallardos ends the week as it started with 1 more new case making a total of 6 new cases in the last 5 days. No cured cases have been reported for almost 2 weeks. The figure per 100.000 population in the last fourteen days has increased from 206.8 to 241.2, a level which we have not see since Monday 19th April. We now have 7 cases registered in the last 14 days and 6 in the last 7. Here are the latest figures for Los Gallardos with yesterday’s figures in (brackets). Total number of cases 271 (270), cured cases 258 (258), active cases 9 (8), deaths 4 (4) and 241.2 per 100.000 (207). Here are the latest figures from the other towns that I used to report on with Friday 16th April figures in (brackets). Turre - Total number of cases 274 (274), cured cases 270 (268), active cases 0 (2), deaths 4 (4) and 0 per 100.000 (52.9). Mojácar - Total number of cases 560 (554), cured cases 539 (537), active cases 6 (2), deaths 15 (15) and 88.5 per 100.000 (14.8). Vera - Total number of cases 1536 (1518), cured cases 1498 (1479), active cases 17 (19), deaths 21 (20) and 105.9 per 100.000 (94.1). Garrucha - Total number of cases 665 (656), cured cases 649 (632), active cases 7 (15), deaths 9 (9) and 94.5 per 100.000 (136.6). Bédar - Total number of cases 30 (30), cured cases 30 (30), active cases 0 (0), deaths 0 (0) and 0 per 100.000 (0).

COVID update Thursday 29th April 2021

The Junta de Andalucía website today reports in the last 24 hours there are no changes in the figures for Los Gallardos. The figure per 100.000 population in the last fourteen days remains at 206.8 and we still have 6 cases registered in the last 14 days and 5 in the last 7. Here are the latest figures for Los Gallardos with yesterday’s figures in (brackets). Total number of cases 270 (270), cured cases 258 (258), active cases 8 (8), deaths 4 (4) and 206.8 per 100.000 (206.8. So far this week Los Gallardos has recorded 5 new cases, Turre have not recorded any, Mojácar have 2, Vera 4 and Garrucha and Bédar zero. Stay safe everybody.

The Junta de Andalucía website today reports that for the third consecutive day Los Gallardos has more new cases. 2 more new cases have been added to the total taking it to 270 since the start of the pandemic with 8 cases being currently active. No more cured cases have been reported. The figure per 100.000 population in the last fourteen days has increased from 137.8 to 206.8 and we have 6 cases registered in the last 14 days and 5 in the last 7. The only change appears to be that we can move around Andalucía.

Mobility is allowed between the 8 provinces of Andalusia

Perimeter closure of the autonomous community (you will not be able to enter or leave Andalusia without just cause) | Perimeter closure of municipalities with an incidence greater than 500 cases / 100,000 inhabitants. (You will need an assessment from the expert committee in towns with less than 5,000 inhabitants).

The curfew is maintained between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.

The business hours will be until 10:30 p.m., with no exceptions due to the district's alert level (hospitality customers can stay for dinner until 11 p.m.)

Meetings of a maximum of six people (four maximum at indoor hospitality tables).

Closure of non-essential activity in municipalities with an incidence greater than 1,000 cases / 100,000 inhab. (In towns with less than 5,000 inhabitants, it needs an evaluation by the territorial committee).

* These measures will be in effect until May 9, when the state of alarm ends"

Se permite la movilidad entre las 8 provincias de Andalucía

Cierre perimetral de la comunidad autónoma (no se podrá entrar ni salir de Andalucía sin causa justificada) | Cierre perimetral de municipios con incidencia mayor de 500 casos/100.000 hab. (necesitará valoración del comité de expertos en pueblos de menos de 5.000 habitantes).

Se mantiene el toque de queda entre las 23.00 y 6.00 horas

El horario de los comercios será hasta las 22.30 horas, sin excepciones por motivo de nivel de alerta del distrito (los clientes de hostelería podrán permanecer cenando hasta las 23.00 hrs.)

Reuniones de un máximo de seis personas (cuatro máximo en mesas de hostelería en interiores).

Cierre de actividad no esencial en municipios con incidencia mayor de 1.000 casos/100.000 hab. (en pueblos de menos de 5.000 habitantes necesita una evaluación del comité territorial).

The Junta de Andalucía website today reports it is another bad COVID day for Los Gallardos because 2 more new cases have been recorded and there are zero cured cases. The number of active cases has therefore increased to 6. The figure per 100.000 population in the last fourteen days has increased back to 137.8, where it was on Friday, and we have 4 cases registered in the last 14 days and 3 in the last 7. Here are the latest figures for Los Gallardos with yesterday’s figures in (brackets). Total number of cases 268 (266), cured cases 258 (258), active cases 6 (4), deaths 4 (4) and 137.8 per 100.000 (103.4). Stay safe everybody.

The Junta de Andalucía website has been updated early today and reports that in the last 72 hours Los Gallardos has 1 new case and zero cured case. The number of active cases has therefore increased to 4. The figure per 100.000 population in the last fourteen days has dropped from 137.8 to 103.4 and we have 3 cases registered in the last 14 days and 1 in the last 7. Here are the latest figures for Los Gallardos with Friday’s figures in (round brackets) and Monday 19th in [square brackets].
