COVID update Tuesday 8th March 2022

Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 24 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are 15 new cases with 7 in Mojácar, 6 in Vera and 2 in Garrucha. There are cured cases in 5 towns with 1 in Los Gallardos, 2 in Turre, 5 in Mojácar, 13 in Vera and 5 in Garrucha. Los Gallardos (Friday’s figures in brackets) - Total number of cases 430 (430), cured cases 421 (420), deaths 6 (6), active cases 3 (4), 0 (99.9) per 100.000 in the last 14 days and 0 (0) in the last 7 days. Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 3 (4), Turre 13 (15), Mojácar 18 (16), Vera 50 (57), Garrucha 54 (61) and Bédar 1 (1). In the province of Almería in the last 24 hours 203 (762) new cases have been recorded and 828 (1,152) cured cases. 2 (3) more lives have been lost. The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has decreased from 294.6 yesterday to 286.6 today but the 7 day rate has increased from 130.6 yesterday to 150.5 today. Today, the Junta de Andalucía website reports that in the last 72 hours, in the towns that I report on, there are 37 new cases with 1 in Turre, 3 in Mojácar, 5 in Vera and 28 in Garrucha. There are cured cases in all 6 towns with 1 in Los Gallardos, 4 in Turre, 4 in Mojácar, 17 in Vera, 10 in Garrucha and 1 in Bédar. Los Gallardos (Friday’s figures in brackets) - Total number of cases 430 (430), cured cases 420 (419), deaths 6 (6), active cases 4 (5), 0 (99.9) per 100.000 in the last 14 days and 0 (0) in the last 7 days. Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 4 (5), Turre 15 (18), Mojácar 16 (17), Vera 57 (69), Garrucha 61 (43) and Bédar 1 (2). In the province of Almería in the last 72 hours 762 (267) new cases have been recorded and 1,152 (1,920) cured cases. 3 (1) more lives have been lost. The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has decreased from 301.3 on Friday to 294.6 today but the 7 day rate has increased from 118.1 on Friday to 130.6 today. There are cured cases in all 6 towns with 6 in Los Gallardos, 9 in Turre, 10 in Mojácar, 30 in Vera, 13 in Garrucha and 3 in Bédar. Los Gallardos (Yesterday’s figures in brackets) - Total number of cases 430 (430), cured cases 419 (413), deaths 6 (6), active cases 5 (11), (99.9) per 100.000 in the last 14 days and (0) in the last 7 days. Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 5 (11), Turre 18 (26), Mojácar 17 (26), Vera 69 (95), Garrucha 43 (56) and Bédar 2 (5). In the province of Almería in the last 24 hours 267 (204) new cases have been recorded and 1,920 (2,703) cured cases. 1 (1) more life has been lost. The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has decreased from 306.2 yesterday to 301.3 today but the 7 day rate has increased from 103.3 yesterday to 118.1 today. There are 96 cured cases with 4 in Los Gallardos, 10 in Turre, 12 in Mojácar, 31 in Vera, 36 in Garrucha and 3 in Bédar. Los Gallardos (Yesterday’s figures in brackets) - Total number of cases 430 (430), cured cases 413 (409), deaths 6 (6), active cases 11 (15), 99.9 (99.9) per 100.000 in the last 14 days and 0 (0) in the last 7 days. Active case numbers are now Los Gallardos 11 (15), Turre 26 (36), Mojácar 26 (35), Vera 95 (123), Garrucha 56 (92) and Bédar 5 (8). In the province of Almería in the last 24 hours 204 (49) new cases have been recorded and 2,703 (1,698) cured cases. 1 (3) more life has been lost. The incidence rate for the province of Almería for the last 14 days has decreased from 320.2 yesterday to 306.2 today and the 7 day rate has also decreased, from 104.1 yesterday to 103.3 today.
