Los Gallardos Friday Figures

 Looking at the graph for the Los Gallardos Friday Figures we see this week that the blue new cases line is starting to level out again but has risen due to the 4 new cases in the last 7 days.

The brown cured cases line has climbed more positively as a result of the 8 cured cases.

The green active cases line, after spiking a little bit last week, is heading once again in the right direction too dropping down to 12, lower than two weeks ago.

COVID update Friday 16th April 2021

The Junta de Andalucía website today reports that in the last 24 hours Los Gallardos has for a second day, no new cases and 1 more cured case. The number of active cases has dropped to 12, the lowest it has been since 30th March. The figure per 100.000 population in the last fourteen days has dropped from 275.7 to 241.2 as we now have 7 cases registered in the last 14 days and 3 in the last 7. Here are the latest figures for Los Gallardos with yesterday’s figures in (brackets). Total number of cases 264 (264), cured cases 248 (247), active cases 12 (13), deaths 4 (4) and 241.2 per 100.000 (275.7). It has been a month since I last shared data on the other towns that I used to report on so here are today's figures with Friday 19th March figures in (brackets). Turre - Total number of cases 274 (268), cured cases 268 (225), active cases 2 (39), deaths 4 (4) and 52.9 per 100.000 (132.2). Mojácar - Total number of cases 554 (550), cured cases 537 (442), active cases 2 (93), deaths 15 (15) and 14.8 per 100.000 (73.8). Vera - Total number of cases 1518 (1490), cured cases 1479 (1368), active cases 19 (102), deaths 20 (20) and 94.1 per 100.000 (100). Garrucha - Total number of cases 656 (629), cured cases 632 (524), active cases 15 (96), deaths 9 (9) and 136.6 per 100.000 (73.5). Bédar - Total number of cases 30 (29), cured cases 30 (27), active cases 0 (2), deaths 0 (0) and 0 per 100.000 (0).

COVID update Thursday 15th April 2021

The Junta de Andalucía website today reports that in the last 24 hours Los Gallardos has no new cases and 2 more cured cases. The number of active cases has dropped to 13, the lowest it has been since 31st March. The figure per 100.000 population in the last fourteen days remains at 275.7 as we still have 8 cases registered in the last 14 days and 5 in the last 7. Incidentally, the other towns that I used to report on also have zero new cases in the last 24 hours. Mojácar has recorded 1 more cured case, Vera 5, Garrucha 2 and Bédar 1. Bédar now has zero active cases.
Hopefully, now two weeks on since Maundy Thursday, the worries of a spike in the figures for Los Gallardos may be over. My fingers are crossed on that one anyway. COVID update Wednesday 14th April 2021

With no update from the Junta de Andalucía website yesterday due to technical reasons, today it reports that in the last 48 hours Los Gallardos has just 1 new case and no more cured cases.

The figure per 100.000 population in the last fourteen days has dropped from 379 to 275.7 and we now have 8 cases registered in the last 14 days and 5 in the last 7.

Here are the latest figures for Los Gallardos with Monday’s figures in (brackets).

Total number of cases 264 (263), cured cases 245 (245), active cases 15 (14), deaths 4 (4) [4] and 275.7 per 100.000 (379).

No COVID update Tuesday 13th April 2021

According to the website of the Andalusian Institute of Statistics and Cartography the Junta de Andalucía webpage will not be updated today for technical reasons. Tomorrow, 2 cases will be taken off our 14 day list taking us down to 9 cases per 100.000 population. This means that any more than 5 new cases tomorrow and Thursday could mean that perimeter lockdown will be implemented again. Stay safe everybody.

COVID update 12-04-2021

The Junta de Andalucía website reports that since Friday Los Gallardos has 3 new cases and 5 cured cases. The figure per 100.000 population in the last fourteen days has risen to 379, the highest it has been since Friday 26th February. We now have 11 cases registered in the last 14 days and 5 in the last 7. Here are the latest figures for Los Gallardos with Friday’s figures in (round brackets) and Monday 5th in [square brackets].
